Rachel just watched our two Cockapoos, a female 17.5 y/o & a 12.5 y/o male for 13 days at her house while we were out of the country. My wife said it was the 1st time she never worried about the dogs while we were gone. Rachel’s house is a perfect “dog oasis” a dedicated sunroom w/ furniture & slate floors, as well as a beautiful backyard for them to explore. Our older dog was so well taken care of by Rachel, that we both commented that she looked “younger” after her “spa vacation”. I would not hesitate to ever use Rachel again.
Rachel with Loving Care Pet Sits is so thorough and attentive with our pets’ needs and does such a great job to make sure their routine is not disrupted while we are away. She goes above and beyond as well taking care of household needs like watering plants, getting the mail, and taking out the garbage. Rachel does an amazing job sending updates and photos daily and is very responsive when we reach out! I would highly recommend her pet services!!
Rachel at Loving Care Pet Sits was top notch! She came for a meet n greet before hand to meet our animals & learn our routine. I was impressed from when she first walked in the door & my dogs sat down in front of her instead of jumping up! She came with treats in hand & brought a binder showing all her credentials & proof of her insurance etc. She has worked with rescues & us having a rescue dog who is sensitive to us leaving, it was very important to have someone we could trust in our home give him that extra love without the stress of boarding. She even scooped poop while she was outside playing with the pups! I can’t say enough things about her service, would highly recommend to anyone looking for someone who is trustworthy, reliable & who truly loves animals.
I am so grateful to have found Rachel – she did an amazing job with my little crew. I felt her warmth, trustworthiness, and love of animals instantly. It was so comforting to know that she was here with them. She sent multiple updates and photos. And because of her wealth of knowledge and experience, she was able to share some incredibly helpful tidbits with me about toys, training, etc. She is truly a gem.
Our 2.5 year old terrier mix is used to someone being home with him nearly 24/7 and we’ve never left him overnight. With our 6 day anniversary ski trip on the books, we knew we had to start the search for someone special to keep our only child while we were away. Luckily we found Rachel and she was willing to take on the house/pet sit for us.
She took the time to visit our home two times prior to us leaving for our trip so that our dog was somewhat familiar with her. She knew all the right questions to ask on these visits and noticed even the littlest things—like a gap in the fencing that concerned her and that her winter hat was making our dog nervous! Rachel took her time with our dog and truly gave him a positive experience in our absence. She let him get to know her on his own terms—even sat on the cold hard stairs and read a book beside him since he wouldn’t join her on the couch 😉
Rachel stuck to her promised schedule of care and informed me each day when she would be away from the house and when she would return. She sent us pictures and video clips each day so that we could breathe easier knowing that he was thriving in her care. She introduced new toys to him and gave us reports of how well he liked or disliked those toys. She let our dog choose the lengths of his walks each day (he gets very nervous outside but she let him tell her how far he was comfortable going) and by the end of the trip, they had conquered the whole neighborhood together!
It was obvious upon our return that Rachel put our dog first for the entire length of her stay and she left our house extremely tidy and clean—we even had fresh sheets to crash in after a long day of travel home.

Rachel is amazing! Her attention to detail making sure she knew everything about Bella’s routine and medical health before she even got here was so reassuring. She took Bella on 3-5 mile hikes and sent her stats to me daily. I home cook and usually have to pre-make and freeze but Rachel cooked for her daily, which saved me tons of time. The love and time Rachel puts in along with all her personal experience and knowledge is priceless! I have never had such peace of mind leaving Bella and I HIGHLY recommend
I’ve had dogs all of my life and it’s always difficult to leave them behind when going out of town. We try to take our furkids with us but sometimes it’s just not possible. Rachel is hands down the best dog sitter I have ever had take care of my furkids. She is reliable and I have such a sense of relief and relaxation knowing they are in amazing hands. Rachel has a very calm, zen like energy about her. She loves the company of our dogs and keeps them active and entertained. She even used a GPS collar while walking the dogs to be extra safe and shared my middle dogs walking stats with me via text. So very thoughtful in terms of safety and exercise. Each time we have come home after she has sat for us, the dogs are so mellow. What a great feeling to know someone has loved them, just as we would have, while we were gone. Rachel and Loving Care Pet Sits is the absolute best! I was very hesitant to leave my 2 small dogs behind as we usually travel with them but this vacation was going to have to be without them. From the moment we were in contact Rachel made me feel so very comfortable. You can see that she has plenty of experience with animals. She was very thorough in finding out all the information regarding each of my dogs behaviors and habits. She stayed overnight for 4 nights and it was great getting updates and pictures. The dogs were extremely well taken care of, loved and treated like hey were her own. I would highly recommend Living Care Pet Sits!!
